    Secondary Math Teacher
    Heritage Christian Schools is seeking a passionate and talented Upper Level Math Teacher to join our Christ-centered community. This full-time, 10-month position involves teaching high school mathematics  and general high school teacher duties. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Facilitate an intellectually and spiritually stimulating classroom.
    • Teach upper-level mathematics concepts and techniques, including AP courses, calculus, etc...
    • Contribute to the advancement of mathematics throughout the school system.
    • Foster a love for mathematics.
    Qualifications:
    • A bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in math or a related field is preferable.
    • Strong teaching expertise and conducting skills.
    • A commitment to Christian education and mentoring students in their faith journey.
    • A committed follower of Jesus Christ.

    Band and Music Teacher
    Heritage Christian Schools is seeking a passionate and talented Band and Music Teacher to join our Christ-centered community. This full-time, 10-month position involves teaching instrumental music and band to students across upper elementary, middle, and high school grades. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and develop the band program for Grades 4-12.
    • Teach general music concepts and techniques.
    • Organize and direct concerts and performances.
    • Foster a love of music in students while integrating faith-based principles into instruction.
    Qualifications:
    • A bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field is preferable.
    • Strong instrumental expertise and conducting skills.

    Elementary Classroom Teacher
    Heritage Christian Schools is seeking  passionate and talented Elementary Classroom Teachers to join our Christ-centered community. This is a faculty-level, full-time, 10-month teaching position. The candidate should demonstrate competency in elementary self-contained classroom instruction.     MSHS Science: 
    This is a faculty-level, full-time or part-time, 10-month teaching position.  The candidate should demonstrate competency in science instruction and have a masterful understanding of science from a Christian perspective and the ability to maintain the non-denominational approach while uphold within a diverse protestant/evangelical school tradition.  The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching science in grades 7-12.  Faculty Job Description here.   • Support Staff Opportunities

    Building Substitute and Substitute Coordinator 
    This is a staff-level, full-time, an 10-month position. This position is responsible for the administration of HCS’s K-12 classroom substitutes and serving as a substitute in K-12 classrooms. This includes classroom instruction in a teacher’s absence, orienting, communicating with, and placing substitutes, maintaining a pre-set schedule, and supporting teachers in various ways when no teachers are out.     • Substitute in classrooms if needed

    • Report absences to the Human Resources department
    • Integrate Christian principles into daily duties.

    Elementary Aide
    This position is responsible for assisting HCS’s K-6 classrooms and serves as a substitute in K-6 classrooms. Applicants preferably have a bachelor degree.  Applicants should contact Mr. Ron Nickell, the Elementary Principal at rnickell@hcsmail.org.

  • Coaching Positions

    Heritage Christian Schools accepts applications for coaching positions throughout the year.
